Quality Assurance & Control (Construction)

BRE Engineering is an innovative engineering business located in Bibra Lake and Henderson, WA. We currently support a wide range of industries including mining, naval and commercial marine, architectural and general industrial.

About the Role

We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Manager to join our team in Henderson on a full-time basis. 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the quality management system is established, implemented & maintained.
  • Conduct quality inspections, surveillance & audits as required
  • Reporting, communicating, actioning & closeout of non-conformances & defects that arise.
  • Managing notifications ensuring attendance of critical activities such as witness & hold points
  • Record & document any deviations from the project quality program & integrated management system (IMS)
  • Assist with welding inspections & review of documentation to ensure compliance to project technical requirements
  • Maintain the ITP register, completion of ITP's & MDR's for the project
  • Assess quality records to ensure compliance & ensure records are updated in a timely & efficient manner.
  • Any other adhoc duties as required
About You: 

To be successful for this role, you will hold the below:

  • Minimum 3yrs experience in similar role
  • Proven experience with ISO 9001 quality management
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision & possess a high degree of autonomy
  • Proficient in MS Suite & QA/QC reporting
  • Confined Space (desirable)
  • White Card (mandatory)
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • National Police Clearance (6 months validity)
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical
  • Must have valid working rights in Australia
