Senior cloud security consultant

Our client, a well known leader within its industry and renowned for its innovative technology and vibrant culture is expanding its cloud security team
We're seeking a Senior Cloud Security Analyst/Consultant who will be responsible for conducting security assessments and working alongside engineering teams to bolster security within AWS, Azure and GCP environments. The role involves a variety of projects, from standard configurations to more unique challenges, necessitating robust knowledge of cloud security practices and effective implementation of security measures.
The ideal candidate will be actively involved in projects, capable of identifying potential issues early, influential in shaping security strategies, and working collaboratively with the cloud engineering team. This role demands someone who is adept at solving problems, communicates effectively with different teams, and is dedicated to continuous learning in cloud security.
Key Duties:
- Conduct security assessments across major cloud environments.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance security measures.
- Lead cybersecurity strategies and manage incident response efforts.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in cloud security.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3-8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on cloud services like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Strong understanding of cloud services and how to keep them secure.
- Proven skills in identifying and fixing security vulnerabilities in cloud settings.
- In-depth knowledge of how to manage access and protect data, using common security tools.
- Skilled in securing network communications and ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Experience in financial services or insurance is a plus.
