The role
This is a diverse and challenging opportunity to join a global and successful brand. As a member of Sealy’s International Finance Team, this role will provide the successful candidate with experience across the full spectrum of the financial control activities and operations of the International business.
The role of Financial Analyst will involve application of your proven technical statutory reporting and compliance skills in providing useable insights to support strategic business decisions. This role involves hands-on financial management across multiple jurisdiction and cultures.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Perform robust monthly review system of overseas business units to ensure its completeness, integrity, and reasonableness, including in-depth financial/business analysis for stakeholders.
- Working closely with local finance team and external consultants in managing the local audit and tax compliance of overseas business unit to ensure timely successful completion statutory compliance requirement.
- Support the ad-hoc technical research and support the new standards adoption, tax laws/development and implementation of new IFRS across business in differences regions.
- Support the financial planning, forecasting, and reporting process of the international business
- Prepare scenario modelling and what if analysis, to pre-empt changes in financials by monitoring trends and discussing with business partners
- Assists and support the group wide best practice reporting, systems, policies, processes, and controls throughout the Region.

Your Profile
- Bachelor qualification with either CA or CPA qualification and post qualification experience at a professional services firm.
- Experience in multi-jurisdictional compliance, reporting and tax issues is highly advantageous.
- You have outstanding communication skills. Bilingual skills (Mandarin/Cantonese) is desirable.
- Exceptional attention to detail, highly developed planning and organizational skill will be critical to your success in the role.
