My client is a leading consumer goods company poised for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the Australia Stock Exchange, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in supporting the IPO process and ensuring robust governance, financial control, and cash flow management. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will lead the finance function, provide strategic financial guidance, and contribute to the overall success and growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. IPO Support: Collaborate with executive leadership and external advisors to prepare for and execute a successful IPO, including financial due diligence, regulatory compliance, and investor relations.
  2. Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives, optimizing capital structure, funding sources, and investment decisions.
  3. Governance and Control: Establish and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate financial risks.
  4. Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow effectively, forecasting liquidity needs, optimizing working capital, and overseeing treasury activities.
  5. Financial Reporting: Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, and other financial disclosures for internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting activities, providing insights into financial performance and variances.
  7. Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive in ASX-listed companies.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial management, corporate finance, and accounting principles.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and governance best practices.
