Job DescriptionThe Role:
As a Senior Financial Planner & Analyst, you will play a critical role in the financial health and strategic direction of the company. This position requires a deep understanding of financial principles and the ability to apply them to real-world scenarios. The Senior FP & Analyst will directly influence the company’s financial strategy by providing actionable insights and supporting strategic initiatives. Success in this role is measured by the accuracy of financial forecasts, the quality of financial analysis, and the ability to positively impact the company’s financial performance and decision-making processes.
Develop scalable and flexible financial models to support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes. Assist in the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, analysing variances and projecting future financial performance. Build and refine commercial models to evaluate business opportunities, pricing strategies, and market trends. Collect, validate, and analyse financial and operational data to provide actionable insights and recommendations. Prepare financial reports and presentations, support strategic planning, and drive process improvement initiatives through collaboration and technology utilisation.Are you our next All-Star?
CPA or CA qualified. Minimum 4-6 years accounting experience, ideally a combination of training with a reputable accounting firm plus success in an industry role. Proficiency in building and maintaining advanced, complex financial models. Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and corporate finance, with excellent quantitative and analytical skills. Ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. Deep understanding of business operations and commercial strategies.What is it like working at 5B?
