We have an exciting opportunity for exceptional Human Resource leaders to join our team. We have one role available from 1 July 2024 for 12 months with possibility of extension or permanency (Senior Director, Organisational Development) and one possible vacancy (HR Business Partner).
Reporting to the Executive Branch Manager, these positions are pivotal to the success of the Human Resources function of our Directorate.
- The Senior Director, Organisational Development is responsible for providing leadership in shaping and developing a culture that drives excellence and builds capability in support of the organisation’s values, vision and mission. This role covers the Human Resource functions of Learning and Development, Recruitment, Entry Level Programs, Workforce Planning, Workforce Reporting and Insights, Diversity and Inclusion and HR Policy and Strategy development.
- The HR Business Partner works in conjunction with the Senior Director, Organisational Development and Senior Director, Employee Relations to support a values-based workplace culture and high performing workforce. HR Business Partners partner with key stakeholders across their designated divisional areas and/or within People and Capability to co-lead and progress projects of priority. They are subject matter specialists and senior leaders within TCCS.
It is intended that these roles are interchangeable and there is an opportunity for the successful incumbent/s to rotate between positions on an annual or bi-annual arrangement.

- HR Experience and knowledge; you have a minimum of 5 years experience operating in a senior capacity within a human resource or similar environment, and tertiary qualifications in human resources, organisational development, change management, psychology or related discipline are highly regarded.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements: Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources, organisational development, change management, psychology is highly desirable
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience operating in a senior capacity within a human resource or similar environment.
- This position does not require a pre-employment medical
- This position does not require a Working with Vulnerable People Check.
Note: This is a temporary position available 24 June 2024 for a period of 12 months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
