Job Description

Design & Build have partnered with a leading mechanical services provider specializing in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. As they continue to expand in Sydney, they are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Site Manager to join their team.

Position Overview:
As a Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of commercial HVAC projects. You will lead a talented team of technicians, coordinating and overseeing all on-site activities while ensuring projects are completed within the specified budget, deadline, and quality parameters. This position will require you to manage 2-3 sites simultaneously, providing expertise in both air conditioning and refrigeration installations.

Responsibilities:

Manage, supervise, and provide guidance to technicians on multiple sites concurrently. Coordinate with project managers to ensure effective scheduling, resource allocation, and work progress. Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Conduct regular inspections to monitor project performance, quality, and compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve any technical issues or challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle. Maintain accurate documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and relevant certifications/documentation. Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager in commercial HVAC projects Air conditioning and Refrigeration License Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project objectives. Competency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications. Sound knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration installation principles, best practices, and industry regulations. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members at all levels. A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on delivering quality outcomes on time and within budget.
