About the Role

As our new Content Writer, you will be a key member of our Customer Asset Marketing team, working closely with both the customer and product deliver teams to establish our tone of voice. In this exciting new role, you will be providing high standard copywriting for digital and print communications to our Customer Assets customers and prospects.

This will include;

• Gathering and evaluating communication requirements across the customer journey in collaboration with product, CX leads and delivery teams.
• Working with key stakeholders across the business to fulfil objectives within agreed timeframes
• Writing, editing and proofreading of customer communications across a variety of medians within the Customer Asset division.
• Partnering with EnergyAustralia’s marketing team to creatively problem solve customer communication challenges
• Adapting creative concepts and application of digital writing skills, including website on-page SEO, social, dynamic and one-to-one communications
• Bringing a customer friendly voice to technical information; finding a simpler way to explain the complex; putting Mum & Dad on the other end of your communications.

This is a part time role working 3-4 days per week. We can explore together how the work gets done and when.

About You

You are an experienced content writer or copywriter coming from either agency or client side and looking to flex your creative brain working across a combination of assets and products. This is an exciting time in our industry and this role should appeal to someone who likes to be at the forefront of change.

You will bring;

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (ie Journalism, Advertising or Communications)
• 4+ years copy and content writing experience within a B2C customer environment and ideally in organisations with a complex service or product
• Outstanding writing skills, with strong grammar, spelling and a perfectionist approach to your output.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Sound understanding of customer insights and ability to apply learnings to all customer communications
