Master Builders Victoria (MBV) represents over 6,000 members within the building and construction industry across Victoria, including large and small builders across the domestic and commercial sectors, as well as apprentices, suppliers, and manufacturers.

Key Position Tasks:

  • To write/produce and effectively distribute high-quality copy content for promotional and informative campaigns and the production of marketing collateral, such as; email communications, newsletters, bulletins, magazine articles, etc..
  • Maintain all MBV social media accounts and other platforms used to create and share content, occasionally attending events to assist with promotion
  • Work with internal stakeholders to monitor and prepare responses to news and media, pertaining to developments in the industry to support the creation of material/articles for MBV’s news communications.
Key Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to develop clear member-focussed communication materials obtained from a variety of sources.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Team-focused, who enjoys working closely with other team members and stakeholders, building rapport and strong, trusting relationships.
Prior Experience:
  • A tertiary degree in Marketing Communications and/or other relevant discipline.
  • Experience in the production of high-quality communications, including content development and maintenance for a range of channels, copywriting, editing and final production.
  • An understanding of both strategic and tactical marketing.
