What you'll do

This role is for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a technical background. This is a fast-paced environment that demands a strong “ownership mentality” and a sense of initiative, you will require these, but also have great facilitation skills, be process-driven, and be enthusiastic to assist in optimising the team's way of working and delivering life-cycle.

• Collaborating with key stakeholders and teams to find the right solutions to solve the most valuable and interesting problems
• Translating requirements into high-quality user stories, including personas and acceptance criteria, ensuring the stories can be tested both functionally and non-functionally and align to the product strategy
• Working with the technical product owner and delivery leads to prioritising the backlog based on business value, technical dependencies, and other factors.
• Being able to formulate user stories for integration-based features with sufficient technical details
• Supporting the squad members in project activities when necessary, demonstrating flexibility to jump roles to serve the team

What you'll bring?

Coming from a digital background, you will demonstrate business acumen, excellent communication and technical know-how that will help drive success. You’re as comfortable facilitating sessions with stakeholders as you are with breaking down bugs and getting into the technical nitty-gritty with the team. You can narrow in on the data and the detail and widen to see the bigger picture. Most importantly, you should have a strategy and skills to take an idea from inception to delivery.

• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and principles
• Strong understanding and experience working with API management platforms, preferably Apigee Edge and/or Apigee X
• Strong understanding and experience working with Content Delivery Network (CDN), preferably with Akamai
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or other web service technologies
• Demonstrated experience as a business analyst in delivering complex initiatives in high-performing teams in an agile development environment
• Experience in process mapping; creating ‘to be’ processes and embedding processes through effective change management
• Experience in documenting design decisions and technical ‘how to’ guides
