About The Role
The National Business Manager for PHI and Hospitals is responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to maximise sales and market share of the company's products and services within the private health insurance and hospital sectors. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in business development, relationship management, and strategic planning to drive growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy for the PHI and hospital markets to achieve sales targets and business growth.
- Identify market opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns and promotional activities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including private health insurers, hospital administrators, and other healthcare providers.
- Oversee national hospital accounts and provide accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the PHI and hospital sectors.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance market presence and growth. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customer needs.
- Manage the budget and financial performance of the PHI and hospital sales division.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures.
- Implement and monitor performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred
- Ideally 5+ years experience in national sales, business development, or account management within the healthcare industry, with a focus on private health insurance and hospitals.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Experience working with senior-level stakeholders
- Experience in managing a national sales team desirable
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
