Product Owner

In this role, you'll play a pivotal role as an individual contributor, leveraging your expertise in UX design to drive meaningful product enhancements and improvements. Your focus won't be on months of research and user testing, but rather on delivering results that directly impact our customers.
Are you a proactive and skilled Product Owner with a knack for UX design? We're in search of someone like you to join our team. As an integral part of our organization, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where speed and quality of output reign supreme. Gone are the days of endless design-based thinking that rarely sees the light of day. Instead, you'll work with the CEO and CTO daily to make tangible contributions to our product on a daily and weekly basis.
In this role, you'll play a pivotal role as an individual contributor, leveraging your expertise in UX design to drive meaningful product enhancements and improvements. Your focus won't be on months of research and user testing, but rather on delivering results that directly impact our customers. Your primary objective will be to ensure our product maintains its competitive edge by providing a seamless and user-friendly experience. This means iterating quickly, and staying ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving landscape across Australia and North America.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with CEO/Board to define product features, improvements, and roadmap.
Prioritize product features and enhancements based on market requirements, CEO/Board direction, customer feedback, and business objectives.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including CEO, CTO, Engineering and CS and QA to deliver high-quality product increments on time at a high cadence.
Translate business requirements into user stories, workflows, wireframes, and prototypes.
Gather insights to continuously improve product feature utilisation, usability, and user satisfaction.
Monitor and analyse key product metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization – reducing friction, keystrokes, and driving feature adoption.
Requirements
A degree in computer science, Engineering, Design, or related field.
Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, preferably in a B2B or B2C SaaS.
Strong understanding of UX design principles and methodologies.
Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
A passion for creating innovative and user-centric digital experiences.
