Associate Product Owner (Digital Lab)

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Digital Competency Centre is responsible for the development and implementation of all reservation flows of Airline web site. We have a target to decommission AeRE as soon as possible and base the new developments on DES.

Today all Digital Competency Centre development teams, in Nice, Sydney and Bangalore, work in close collaboration with the airline to build new features and maintain/improve the existing ones. They are responsible for all deliveries to the airline from requirements to production load.

In order to continue to deliver high quality features we need to acquire new talents, highly motivated to work directly with a customer. We are looking for a proxy product owner to join our development team based in Sydney and working in an Agile environment.

As a Proxy Product Owner in a Competency Center, you will make a functional and technical bridge between customers’ requirements and the developers.

Main Responsibilities:

- Customer Relationship

  • Analyze and clarify the business requirements submitted by the customer

  • Drive, communicate and explain the sizing

  • Discuss priorities

  • Be the privileged entry point for functional questions

  • Participate in demos, bilats and any other forums with the customer

- PO of a scrum team

  • Define internal US and prioritize them

  • Handle and animate refinement sessions and sprint planning with the development team

  • Accept/Reject work results

  • Collaborate with the SM of the team

- Collaboration with other Team

  • Collaborate extensively with the other QCC POs in NCE and BLR

  • Collaborate with other CC POs when synergies can be found

  • Collaborate with other train POs when dependencies

  • Be the privileged entry point of the train responsible for PI preparation

Relevant Experience:

  • Experience in Software Development Agile Methodology

  • Travel business knowledge is required.

  • Experience with eRetail and/or Digital Experience Suite platforms would be a plus.

  • Experience working with a customer

  • Autonomy and proactivity

  • Previous experience in a Digital Lab would be a plus.
