About the role

The Digital Marketing Intern/Graduate contributes to the execution of marketing programs and campaigns that help drive outcomes across our residential, home care, health and hospital portfolios.

This role reports into the Creative Director and will work closely with the marketing and communications team and wider organisation to accelerate HammondCare’s goal of shaping the sector and improving the quality of life for people in need.

The Marketing team consists of marketing, communications and digital specialists, plus an in-house studio with design and content creators.

This is an entry level position working three days a week on a one-year contract at our contemporary offices at St Leonards.

This role would suit someone who is a final year student – or someone who has recently graduated - studying a marketing, communications or business degree (with Marketing/Communications major) or an incumbent who has on-the-job marketing experience or been a previous intern.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Support the development and implementation of marketing plans, programs, campaigns and communications for HammondCare services, to achieve business and marketing objectives, targets and KPI’s
  • Assist with developing well-written and compelling marketing assets
  • Proactively monitor campaigns, analysis of data and optimisation to improve results
  • Engage with stakeholders to deliver organisational and marketing goals
  • Clearly communicate with stakeholders on milestones, status and expenditure on projects
  • Support the marketing team’s processes and tasks

About You

  • You are enthusiastic about marketing, digital and commercial creativity
  • You may have various creative pursuits, such as making videos, building websites, writing stories or blogging relentlessly… all of which will be highly valued here.
  • You understand owned, earned and paid marketing platforms and know how to leverage them for impact (or you’re a quick learner)
  • You have sme digital marketing and content marketing experience
  • You’re an energetic, proactive and collaborative team player
  • You’re an analytical, problem-solver with good decision-making skills
  • You know how to multi-task and prioritise workload
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and experience with marketing automation platforms and design programs a bonus
  • You’re an empathetic and compassionate person who has a heart for Australians in need
  • Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s mission, motivation and mission in action
