The Opportunity

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (the department) is seeking to recruit to its executive leadership team a highly talented, skilled individual who excels at leading staff and working collegiately, has an eye to the future, anticipates and respond to the changing world and manages resources to achieve outcomes in complex, demanding circumstances. 

This vacancy notice is for Assistant Secretary - Media and Communications Delivery Branch in Canberra. 

This role forms part of the senior leadership team in the Strategic Communications Division and supports the Government’s global security and prosperity agenda through leadership and delivery of the department’s approach to communications and media engagement.
