The Roles

ONI is recruiting for a number of current or possible future vacancies in its senior executive service (SES) at the Band 1 level. These are outstanding opportunities for leaders with initiative, drive, integrity, a depth of experience and a motivation to do work of national significance.

To be eligible for these roles, you will have a highly developed understanding of Australia’s international political, strategic and economic interests, and a proven record in one or more of several fields including national security, foreign policy analysis or practice, finance, management consulting, project management or corporate administration.

Successful candidates will take responsibility for delivering intelligence products to government or delivering enterprise services in a complex and sensitive environment. Candidates will be experienced leaders who will coordinate national intelligence efforts across ONI, the intelligence community and government more broadly.
