The Opportunity:
We're hiring an experienced Commercial Business Analyst to join our team at Toll Group This is a full time position based in our St Kilda office The successful candidate will play a crucial role in leading improvement initiatives, from enhancing billing processes to boosting profitability, sustainability, and growth. With a keen eye for cost optimisation and a passion for continuous improvement, you'll ensure we exceed service expectations.
In this exciting role, align operational tactics with our mission and strategy. Your expertise in contract and risk management, coupled with financial acumen, will navigate challenges and seize growth opportunities. This is a collaborative role where you will partner with stakeholders to implement innovative strategies for productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
A day in the life of a Business Analyst at Toll Group:
- Lead and drive business improvement initiatives to meet or exceed objectives, KPIs, and SLAs, operationalising technical aspects and solutions.
- Provide world-class customer experiences throughout the end-to-end lifecycle, adding value at all touchpoints and fostering a customer-centric culture.
- Act as a change agent, driving and embedding change through change management and transformation programs.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across projects, programs, and portfolios, offering innovative solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and functionality, ensuring consistency across all initiatives.
- Coach and mentor staff on financial principles, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Analyse market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and risks, supporting forecasts, budgets, and reports for B.U performance monitoring.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Similar experience in Commercial / Finance Business Analyst role.
- Expertise in data analysis and interpretation to inform strategic decisions.
- Proficient understanding of profit and loss and balance sheet principles.
- Familiarity with Accounting Standards for accurate financial analysis.
- Skill in recognizing and addressing operational inefficiencies and service issues.
