What this opportunity involves.

We’re looking for a personable, professional, and proactive Facilities Manager to join our successful team. In this diverse role, you will manage a terrific commercial and retail portfolio.

Providing a high level of service, you will proactively engage with stakeholders to coordinate site operations, manage contractors, follow all health & safety management guidelines, ensure compliance with regulations and procedures, support facilities related projects and gain an understanding of technical requirements for these mixed sites.

Relationship building across all levels is important, as you’ll be the key point of contact between tenants and contractors.

A snapshot of the day-to-day responsibilities:

Delivering onsite operations management procedures, process, performance measures, coordinating all aspects of building management and essential services.

Ensuring a safe working environment, high level of presentation and comfort to the tenants, JLL staff, suppliers, contractors and visitors, promoting the brand of JLL in the marketplace.

Facilitation of all on-site operations including soft and hard services within the base building.

Managing the OPEX and CAPEX of the base build and managing the service component of the recoveries achieved.

Financial management of outgoings and capital projects in line with client requirements.

Contractor management – day to day proactive management of all PPM and Adhoc service providers.

Ensuring the implementation and completion of client sustainability requirements.

You’re passionate about sustainability and have a good knowledge of building systems as well as occupational health & safety legislation and requirements.

Excellent communication skills are important– both written and spoken - and we’ll expect you to work independently, multi-task, and manage your time to meet deadlines.
