About the Opportunity

Reporting to Chief Executive Officer, your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies that align with Paywise’s objectives, ensuring compatibility with the broader financial policies of COG:ASX.
  • Financial Operations and Compliance: Oversee all financial operations, maintaining compliance with statutory requirements, with particular attention to the intricacies of salary packaging, novated leasing, and nationwide operations.
  • Risk and Investment Management: Lead risk management efforts and identify investment opportunities to support sustainable growth, upholding the stringent accountability standards expected of listed entities.
  • Reporting and Governance: Ensure accurate and transparent financial reporting as necessitated by our status as a listed entity. Liaise with the CFO of COG:ASX to ensure aligned financial reporting and governance practices.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Guide the finance team towards excellence in financial management and reporting, promoting a culture of professional development and continuous improvement.

About You 

Other key skills, experience and qualification:

  • Tertiary level qualification (bachelor's degree or higher) in Accounting, Finance or a related field. 
  • Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant.
  • Proven experience in a CFO role, preferably within the financial services sector, familiarity with the requirements of a publicly listed company, managing an annual revenue of $150m.
  • Solid understanding of financial regulations, strategic planning, and risk management, with specialised knowledge in salary packaging and novated leasing. 
  • Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills are essential.
  • A strategic thinker with unassailable integrity, ethical standards, and a commitment to financial transparency and excellence.
