Position Summary:
- Identify and secure new group catering opportunities, setting the pace in the industry
- Work with other operational disciplines to market the property and sell conferences, meetings and & eventspaces
- Prepare detailed proposals and contracts that are tailored to client requirements
- Execute photo shoots and brand activations whilst optimising all hotel marketing channels, inspiring brilliance
- Plan and conduct high end site inspections and entertainment with a focus on conversion
- Support the hotel’s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by engaging and inspiring guests with each customer experience
- Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers, anticipating their needs and enabling future bookings
- Act as a Marriott ambassador and promote awareness on the hotel
About You:
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Highly polished verbal and written communication skills
- Working rights in Australia
