Discovery Park, Townsville offers a range of fully equipped cabins, caravan sites and great facilities for all our Guests including the new waterpark which is always a big hit with the kids.
The RoleWe are looking for a business minded individual with strong leadership skills and demonstrated experience in hospitality management or managing an accommodation-based business.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Leadership of a diverse park team to provide an exceptional guest experience
- Financial management - reporting, delivering and implementing budgets
- Maximizing revenue opportunities
- Asset management
- Office administration
- Attending to after-hours call outs
- Demonstrated skills and experience in hospitality/accommodation management
- Proven and demonstrated experience in managing, developing and training staff
- Strong computer skills with experience with RMSor similar reservations systems
- Awareness of sales and marketing principles and practices
- Proven experience in managing financials (budgets & planning)
- Genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experience
