Reputable Firm - Business Services Accountant - Flexible and hybrid working

This esteemed firm, known for their extensive accounting and client-centered solutions, vibrant workplace culture and commitment to employee development is on the lookout for a dedicated Business Services Accountant to join their team.

You will work closely with your Director and Manager to provide a full range of accounting and business advisory services.

You will be responsible for:

  • Financial and tax returns for group structures, companies, trusts, partnerships, sole traders and SMSF
  • The client base is varied from SMEs, high net worth clients, and corporate business structures
  • BAS, IAS, FBT
  • Reconciliations
  • Corresponding directly with clients as and when required
  • Dealing directly with the Australian Taxation Office on behalf of clients with respect to assessments and queries
  • The firm uses Xero, and Class Super
Successful candidates will have:

  • Must have a solid understanding of accounting concepts/ legislation.
  • Have 3 + years of Business Services experience, working in an accounting firm
  • Client-focused
  • Have great time management
  • A Commerce degree at minimum and preferably studying towards the CA/CPA
  • Must have excellent communication and be great at building client relationships
