SESLHD is looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our growing Procurement group. This is a new position to the team and we look forward to welcoming an eager individual to assist in all matters procurement.
- Up to 12 allocated days off each year (for full-time employees)
- 4 weeks annual leave (pro-rata for part time employees)
- Salary packaging options – up to $9k for living expenses + $2.6k meal entertainment + Novated leasing for eligible employees

TheProcurementProjects Managermanages theend-to-endprocurement processes; in addition to leading and supporting the development and implementation of a range of initiatives and projects to support the achievement of the directorate’s strategic and operational objectives.
Selection Criteria:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in procurement and contract management or relevant equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
- Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills with a strong customer service approach.
- Demonstrated knowledge in the development of procurement documentation and high-level contract management skills with the ability to facilitate the uptake of new contracts.
- Demonstrated effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload to meet conflicting deadlines, including management of the completion of special projects.
- Demonstrated high level analytical and problem-solving skills that lead the development of innovative solutions to meet workplace needs.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management and other key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to provide input, interpret, monitor, and evaluate policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ability and willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified for this position following suitable labour market testing.
All Category A workers and new recruits are required to receive one dose of the seasonal influenza vaccine annually to be considered compliant.
Category A workers and new recruits who are non-compliant with seasonal influenza vaccination or have a medical contraindication to influenza vaccinations must comply with all other infection control risk reduction strategies as directed while working in a Category A position.
