Job Description

SUMMARY

This position is in the shared services team and responsible for daily accounting functions for Kering Group Brands in the Australia and New Zealand. The Assistant Accountant (AR) is able to issue for all Kering Brands both invoice and Sales Reconciliation. He/ she is customer-oriented and autonomous, solves issues proactively and continuously seeks for improvements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • In charge of month end closing for allocated legal entities
  • Maintenance of fixed asset register for allocated legal entities
  • In charge in the preparation of monthly account reconciliation for allocated legal entities
  • In charge of monthly GST preparation for allocated legal entities
  • Assist in the coordination of yearly audit
  • Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior


SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Experience, business and technical skills:
  • Degree/Diploma in Accounting/Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience with 2-3 years of experience in a similar position (prior experience in a SSC would be valued)
  • Good English communication skills
  • Recognised professional qualification in accountancy
  • Proficient in MS Office, SAP, Blackline experience is preferred
