  • Growth advisory
  • Strategic planning
  • Business mentoring
  • Due diligence and transaction related services
  • Accounting and advice
  • Applications for business finance
  • Tax planning and structuring
  • Taxation compliance and advice, including GST
  • Selection and implementation of business informationservices

We are seeking Senior Accountants to join our growing BusinessServices teams. You'll focus on delivering high quality, valueadding work while developing your career in a high performingteam.

  • Prepare a range of financial statements in accordance withregulatory, accounting, and financial reporting standardsacross various industries
  • Prepare income tax returns for a variety of entitiesincluding companies, trusts and high net worth individuals
  • Perform various tax planning tasks for clients andpreparing advice relating to business operations and regulatorymatters
  • Providing a range of business and tax advisory servicesi.e., business structuring, improvement, and growthadvisory 
  • Liaise with clients, managers and partners regardingqueries
  • Mentor and assist junior staff in their training anddevelopment

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Experience in a professional services environment and akeen interest in tax and advisory 
  • Relationship building skills; we work as a wider BusinessServices team, and you will need to liaise with various levelsand teams across BDO as well as providing exceptional serviceto our clients
  • Demonstrated analytical/problem solving ability
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach towork
  • An interest in, or currently completing (or finished) a CAor CPA qualification
  • Knowledge and use of Advanced Professional Solutions (APS)and/or Xero is desirable
