Warehouse Operations Manager

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse management, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our client's warehouse, ensuring that inventory is managed efficiently and orders are fulfilled accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Manage and coordinate warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor and improve warehouse layout and organization to optimize space utilization and workflow.
- Collaborate with the purchasing and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety.
- Analyze warehouse performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to order fulfillment and delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the furniture industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
