THE ROLE:

The Adviser, Pipeline and Performance is a core part of the Strategy, Performance and Operations branch in Austrade’s Trade division. The branch is responsible for ensuring that our teams of advisers to Australian exporters operate as efficiently and effectively as possible. To manage their teams, executives across the organisation need access to reliable and timely information about Austrade’s own performance, and how our clients—Australian exporters—are performing as a result of receiving our assistance. The Pipeline and Performance team provides this information, and the Adviser role is an essential component in our reporting infrastructure.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
  1. Identification and extraction of relevant data from Austrade’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, and manipulation and analysis to provide meaningful information.
  2. Preparation of Austrade’s monthly Trade Report, which provides senior Executives with information about the organisation’s (and our clients’) performance.
  3. Monitoring and quality control of data in Austrade’s CRM system.
  4. Preparation of quarterly data quality reports to provide managers with information on possible data shortcomings in their areas.
  5. Preparation of quarterly reports on portfolios of key-account managed clients to assist portfolio managers.
  6. Preparation of annual deep-dive analysis of portfolio performance.
  7. Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and relevance of reports and analysis by performing regular quality checks.
  8. Ad-hoc assistance with data as requested by management.
