Residential House Supervisor

We seek a dedicated, passionate, and committedResidential House Supervisorto lead a team of support workers providing direct care to our Supported Independent Living participants.

The successful candidates will be part of a team providing 24/7 individual support and care to our participants, contributing to a person-centred care model that goes above and beyond. Every day you will be making a positive difference and building a relationship with our Participants.

Hourly rate is paid as per the SCHADS Award Classifications and on qualifications and experience commencing at $36 per hour part-time employees plus salary packaging to reduce the tax you pay and increase your take-home pay (as per PBI status). Availability is required for at least 4 days during the week/weekend from 3pm until 10pm with at least 2 of these days requiring overnight shifts (non-active) from 3pm until at least 9am the following morning.

The ideal candidates for these positions will have:

• Leadership skills and experience to lead and maintain a dynamic team to achieve effective results
• Efficiency in the use of technology and administration experience including ensuring finance and appropriate records are maintained.
• A qualification or experience in Disability Services/Aged Care/Individual Support/Home and Community Care or similar field. Applicants with lived experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong ethics and genuine approach towards participant dignity and safety and Work Health and Safety.
• Adaptability, flexibility, resilience and respond positively to change.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, including emails.
• Well-developed conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Dedication to their job and their team.
• Good presentation and a professional attitude.
