Clinical Care Manager

About the facility:
The 100 bed, fully accredited Aged Care facility is based in east Melbourne, close to Burleigh Heads with a leading passionate Aged Care team that is focused on delivering high-quality care.
About the role:
The Clinical Manager will report to the Facility Manager and will help monitor Training and Education, lead the clinical team to meet high clinical standards that meet the individual needs of the residents, and manage the clinical care staff team.
Duties:
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the Aged Care sector, including funding and policy protocols.
- Show an ability to operate independently and professionally with limited supervision.
- Interpret work within the relevant policy guidelines.
- Understand the needs of older people, especially those with cognitive decline.
Skills and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Health, Welfare, Nursing, or Social Sciences.
- Experience in Aged Care accreditation and the clinical standards, dementia, and challenging behaviors.
- Experience in working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
