Public Relations & Corporate Affairs (Marketing & Communications)
The Communications and Media team is a newly established small team that operates within the Corporate Branch. The team is responsible for delivering a broad range of external communication, including our engagement with the media and communication aimed at educating and informing about the PWSS services and building positive workplace culture in Commonwealth Parliamentary Workplaces (CPWs). The team is also responsible for internal communication and design.
About the Role
The Parliamentary Workplace Support Service (PWSS) are looking for an enthusiastic and capable individual with media and communications experience to lead the Communications and Media team. We work in a complex, challenging, and fast paced environment, and work collaboratively to achieve our objectives. If you’re seeking an exciting role with substantial autonomy and a unique and high profile brand to manage, this may be the role for you.
We are looking for a strong leader who will:
- Lead and manage a small team to ensure delivery of high quality outcomes and continuous workplace improvement.
- Develop strategic internal and external communication and media plans including strategies and associated products.
- Manage the communications and media monitoring function.
- Lead intranet and website development and content management.
- Manage the PWSS branding.
Further Information
The above-mentioned salary range is based on the Australian Public Service Commission Enterprise Agreement 2024-2027 . PWSS offer an Individual Flexibility Agreement to employees on commencement to align salary with the 2024-2027 .pdf" target="_blank">Department of Finance Enterprise Agreement 2024-2027 .
