Reporting to the Superintendent Process, the Supervisor Maintenance will lead the mechanical team in a safe and productive work environment, they will assist the operational readiness delivery, contribute to planning processes, manage electrical personnel and work closely with the Process Supervisors to all achieve our common goal.

BCI Minerals Limited (ASX:BCI) is an Australian owned mineral resources company with salt and potash as its initial focus. A future Tier One project, Mardie has been designed to produce 5.35Mtpa of high-purity salt and 140ktpa of Sulphate of Potash (SOP).

Using an inexhaustible seawater resource and 99% of the energy required produced by natural solar and wind energy, our Mardie project is a multi-generational sustainable opportunity that will supply the growing chemical, renewable energy, and agricultural industries with Salt and Sulphate of Potash for generations to come.

The Role

The Supervisor Maintenance will lead the mechanical team in a safe and productive work environment by ensuring all work practices/procedures meet statutory & company OHS&E operational standards within the Maintenance Department and will hold the statutory role of Maintenance Supervisor as per Mines Regulations.

About You:

The successful candidate will hold:

  • Mechanical Trade Qualification
  • Minimum of 3 Years post trade experience, preferably within the mining industry and on fixed plant
  • Manual C Class driver's license.
  • Experience in Asset Management and Preventative Maintenance Schedules.
  • Strong understanding and ability to use Computerised Maintenance Management Systems. i.e., Pronto
  • Competent in use of computers and Microsoft suite. i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Teams & OneNote.
  • Confined Space Entry competency.
  • Working at Heights competency.
  • Provide First Aid Training.
  • Low Voltage Rescue Training.
  • Forklift and/or Telehandler advantageous.
  • Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings.

The successful candidate will be required to provide a national police clearance that not older than 3 months and if site based must hold a WA White Card.

You must have current unrestricted working rights for Australia to be eligible for consideration.
