THE OPPORTUNITY WE PRESENT:
Due to our continued growth, we have an exciting position for a full time Full Stack Software Developer to join our small and experienced team of 4 in that department. Reporting to our Software Engineering Team Lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, troubleshooting and debugging software applications for websites and single page applications encompassing both the front-end and back-end to ultimately deliver end-to-end software solutions. As a valued member of a tight knit team, this is an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and take an active role in the definition and evolving of standard practices and procedures.
THE EXPERIENCE YOU OFFER:
We would love to hear from anyone with 3+ years of relevant experience in full stack software development, with proficiency in TypeScript and a framework such as SvelteKit, Vue or React. Other criteria includes:
- Competency in front end design using HTML/SCSS;
- Knowledge/experience with NodeJS, Docker, SQL, C++, Rust;
- Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills;
- Proven ability to work independently and be self-motivated;
- A logical thinker with clear, concise, and caring communication skills;
- Collaborative nature, with ability to work harmoniously within a small, tight knit team;
- Flexible and thrive working across different languages and technologies;
- Passion for ensuring solutions and implementations are reliable, scalable, maintainable, secure and supportable;
- A team player with a “can-do” attitude; and
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a discipline such as Software Engineering, IT, Computer Science or related field (desired but not essential).
