My client is a multi-billion dollar ASX 200 business with a high profile brand and diversified revenue streams. They have a rich history of success and are currently investing heavily in infrastructure, technology and human capital in order to achieve their ambitious growth strategy. The role
There is currently an opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join the team on a 6 month fixed term contract to start ASAP. Reporting to the GM Finance, you will partner GM and Exec level stakeholders and oversee the holistic capital portfolio as well as ensuring robust project financial management across the business. You will lead a high performing team responsible for coordinating and managing forecasts, strategic planning, capital funding requests / business cases, reporting, analysis, decision support and board presentations.
Responsibilities- Prepare high-quality management reports, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations for Executive and Board review.
- Lead the Capital Expenditure Corporate Plan process including liaising, productively challenging, and consolidating the five-year plan.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess project feasibility, evaluate investment opportunities, and mitigate financial risks.
- Oversee, provide input, and review capital project submissions to ensure information is accurate and business case proposition is in line with strategy.
- Trusted finance partner to business stakeholders, offering expert guidance and insights on capital expenditure decisions.
- Manage the financial results, review and assessment of all funding requests and change requests.
- Lead the financial review of strategic initiatives, providing expert advice and actionable insights.
- Guide, lead and mentor a high-performing team.
CA/CPA qualified. Prior experience leading a finance team within a large corporate. Experience effectively partnering exec level stakeholders. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement. Experience in Infrastructure or a capital intensive environment advantageous.
