AMG Cryogenics are experts in the design, production, and sale of cryogenic high-pressure vessels. Its products include special energy equipment such as Small-scale LNG Plants, LNG Storage Tanks, LNG Road Tankers, LNG ISO Containers, LNG Vaporisers, LNG Marine Tanks, LNG to CNG (L-CNG) car filling stations, LNG vehicle air supply systems, LNG marine gas supply systems, Boiler gas supply systems, Cryogenic valves and Vacuum insulated tubes.

About the role

This role is responsible for driving all engineering projects and being the key interface between AMG Cryogenic Partners, Suppliers and Employees and customers. The liaison and communications between these key stakeholders is International, mainly in Australia and China. Key Responsibilities are:

  • Coordinating and planning multiple small to medium sized fabrication projects
  • Ensuring that projects meet timed deadlines and are within budget
  • Reviewing Scope Of Work’s (SOW) and tender documents to provide detailed project estimates
  • Delivery of the project tasks in accordance with the project schedule
  • Compiling project quality documents including Master Deliverable Registers (MDR) and Inspection and test plans (ITP)
  • Completing material take-offs with high level of accuracy
  • Liaising with Material Coordinator and ensure project materials are delivered within the required timeframe
  • Stakeholder management of internal and external stakeholders which include support functions, contractors, consultants, and all AMG employees
  • Supporting engagement and performance of external engineering contractors and subcontractors
  • Reporting on engineering progress, cost and scheduling to meet engineering reporting requirements
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives and projects
  • Administrative and ad-hoc duties as and when required by your managers.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Engineering degree qualifications (mechanical/civil) are essential
  • 3 years+ in a similar Project Engineering role with a high level understanding of project management, deadlines and budget controls
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Capability to work in a collaborative team environment to drive a project to conclusion
  • Relationship and stakeholder management in a challenging and complex environment
  • Any previous experience within the Oil & Gas industry is desirable
  • Any qualifications in Project management i.e PRINCE2 is desirable.
