The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced floatlegal secretary to join the team on a full-time basis. Based in ourSydney CBD office, this role provides the opportunity to work with andsupport a variety of practice groups in person across our Sydneyoffices and remotely to our national offices as required with keyduties including:

  • Daily reception cover
  • Diary management
  • Preparing legal documents
  • Billing and client reporting
  • Opening and closing files

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you willbe an experienced legal secretary with exposure to a variety ofdifferent areas of law. In addition to this, you will ideally have:

  • A minimum 2 years' legal secretary experience
  • Previous experience in a float position (preferred but not essential)
  • Previous experience supporting fee earners at all levels
  • Experience using iManage and Aderant (preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage andprioritise multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Ability to draft correspondence and documents; and
