Home Instead is a leading provider of high-quality, relationship-based in-home care for ageing adults. We help with a range of personal and lifestyle needs while providing welcome companionship for ageing adults.

About the role:

We highly encourage people studying Paramedicine, Nursing or other similar courses to apply.

We are currently hiring passionate and caring CAREGivers to join our Home Instead family on a casual or permanent part time basis As a CAREGiver you will be part of a growing team that assists our clients with personal care, light household duties, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transport to appointments, shopping, and social outings.

This role will allow CAREGivers to work flexible hours that enableyou to work during the day, evening, or weekends while making a difference through providing compassionate home care and supporting individuals to live independently at home. We are currently seeking CAREGivers ideally available in the morning from 7am onwards with the occassional evening, overnight or weekend shift.

At our Mid North Coast offices, we service areas from such as Grafton, Coffs Harbour,Bellingen, Nambucca Heads, Kempsey, Port Macquarie, Laurieton, Taree and Tuncurry.Enthusiastic and compassionate CAREGivers are the key to our success, with no prior experience or qualifications necessary.

About you:

  • Have a big heart, patience, and a desire to help improve the lives of seniors and their families.
  • Certificate III in IndividualSupport, Aged Care, Community Services or equivalent experience or qualification.
  • Be personable, compassionate, approachable, and able to build relationships.
  • Must be located and willing to travel up to 40minutes withinyour local area
  • Must have asmart phone to be able to navigate through various applications.
  • Must have avalid Australian opendriver license, access to a reliable car, and have comprehensive car insurance.

Casual

Minimum availability:

  • Mon-Wed
  • Wed-Fri
  • Occassional Weekends or overnight shiftsavailable

Permanent

Minimum availability:

  • 20 hours per week
  • 4 days per weekincluding Monday or Friday, 7am-5pm
