Role DescriptionArcadis is expanding its Water team and seeking passionate water professionals to contribute to various sustainability and resilience-focused projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing hydrological and hydraulic flood models and preparing related reports
- Creating water balance models for diverse systems
- Providing technical inputs for proposals
- Supervising and mentoring junior engineers
- Contributing to flood impact assessments and risk management plans
- Engaging in climate change adaptation and resilience projects
- Coordinating designs across multiple offices and disciplines
- Fostering team growth and building relationships
- Promoting a digital work environment
- Collaborating with other design disciplines for holistic solutions
If you share our passion for improving life quality and have experience in water infrastructure projects, we are looking for individuals with:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Experience with modeling software like TUFLOW, HEC-RAS, RORB, or RAFTS
- Programming skills, especially in Python
- Knowledge of water balance programs such as GoldSim
- Proficiency in GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS, or MapInfo)
- Understanding of ARR2019 guidelines
- Experience across project lifecycle stages
- Strong self-management and client interaction skills
- Familiarity with Australian standards and regulations
- Desire to enhance technical skills and personal influence
