Electrical Engineer (Senior/Associate)As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for enhancing the capabilities and reputation of the client's Water Infrastructure team. Collaborating with a talented multi-disciplinary team, you will drive future-ready outcomes that benefit clients and communities.Key Responsibilities:Work as part of a national team to deliver on project goalsLiaise with project stakeholders, including clients and vendorsProduce high-quality technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiencesUndertake field and desktop investigations related to existing electrical infrastructurePrepare detailed documentation and specifications for electrical components to support procurement and deliveryQualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalentRPEQ Certification and Chartered Engineer statusExperience in an engineering consultancy, design, or asset owner role, preferably in the water industryUnderstanding and demonstrated experience in electrical infrastructure design, particularly related to the water utility sectorDesign background in PTW design, LV and ELV electrical systems, PLC/telemetry, and Instrumentation and ControlEmerging project management experienceExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalSenior Electrical Engineer (PTW Design)In this role, you will leverage your expertise in PTW (Permit to Work) design to contribute to the success of this major joint venture project. Collaborating with a team of talented professionals, you will drive innovative solutions that enhance the client's water infrastructure capabilities.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design of PTW electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulationsCollaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated, future-ready solutionsProvide technical expertise and guidance to project stakeholdersContribute to the development of standards, conceptual and detailed designs, and design management processesActively participate in industry committees and contribute to the advancement of the sectorQualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalentRPEQ Certification and Chartered Engineer statusExtensive experience in PTW design, with a strong understanding of LV and ELV electrical systems, PLC/telemetry, and Instrumentation and ControlProven track record in the water utility sector or similar industriesExcellent project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teamsStrong technical and commercial acumen, with a focus on successful outcomes for clientsEffective communication skills and the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersThis is an exciting opportunity to join a global engineering group and contribute to the delivery of innovative water infrastructure solutions.
