Your NewRole

Taking a CustomerFirst approach, the Power BI Specialist will be responsible fordesigning, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards andreports to support business decision making. This role willcollaborate closely with various stakeholders to understand theirdata needs and translate them into insightful visualisations. AboutYou

  • Formalqualifications or certifications in data analytics or relatedfields.
  • A tertiaryqualification in Computer Science, Information Systems orrelated field is highly desirable, or significant experience inthe industry in lieu of a qualification.
  • Well-developedexperience as a Power BI specialist, or similarrole.
  • Experienceworking with data from digital platforms, systems, andtools.
  • Experienceworking in greenfield data analytics projects.
  • Strongknowledge of data analysis and visualizationtechniques.
  • Knowledge ofdata warehousing and ETL concepts.
  • Proven abilityusing SQL and other database technologies.
  • Strongproblem-solving skills.
  • Effective timemanagement skills with a demonstrated ability to meet multipledeadlines and commitments.
  • High levelcommunication and interpersonal skills with demonstratedability to build sustained relationships withstakeholders.
  • Ability totravel across the state as required.
  • Hold a currentunrestricted driver’s license.
  • Hold (or ableto obtain before commencement) a QLD Working with ChildrenCheck (Blue Card) and consent to a National PoliceCheck
