About the Opportunity

This is an exciting permanent full time opportunity is for adedicated Educator with a Diploma to join the team at Bunyarra Early Learning(Chisholm ACT).

In this role you will be working in the Toddler room 5 days per week.

We want to continue to grow as committed teams of educators that provide a nurturing environment and quality programs that caters to the individual needs and interests of our children. We work in partnership with families and the local community to ensure children feel safe, supported and secure as they develop positive self-esteem.

What you’ll be doing in this role

As a Diploma Qualified Educator, you’ll provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework

Your care work may include:

  • Developing positive relationships that support children, their families and community.
  • Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interest, strengths, and abilities.
  • Documenting children’s learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes

Who we’re looking for

  • Must have completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, with previous on the job experience (preferred)
  • Be passionate about working with children of all ages.
  • A work history that demonstrates, programming, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework (National Standard)
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members
  • You’ll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
