Requirements for role:

  • Diploma qualified or Bachelor of Education
  • Current First Aid qualification including Anaphylaxis and Asthma
  • Current WWCC (employee)
  • Covid-19 immunisation
  • Knowledge and experience with the Early Years Learning Framework
  • KindyHub knowledge an advantage
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a Lead Educator or Room Leader role
  • Experience and confidence with guiding written documentation in relation to children's learning and development
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to lead by example

Position Objectives:

  • To guide the planning of an education program that supports a holistic approach to the care and development of children aged from birth to six years of age.
  • To lead other educators, families and early childcare professionals to provide a safe, caring, engaging and stimulating environment for children attending the service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.71 – $39.42 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Experience:

  • Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Working with Children Check (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
