We are partnering with a leading consultancy to seek a Senior SAP HCM Payroll Consultant. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in SAP HCM Payroll to guide and support the project team. This position requires a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with profound knowledge and experience, adept at influencing and advising multiple teams. Your responsibilities will encompass making team decisions, engaging with various teams, and contributing to key decisions. You will also be expected to provide solutions to complex problems across multiple teams and offer advice on high-impact activities within the systems development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance and support to the project team on SAP HCM Payroll.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure optimal performance and decision-making.
  • Contribute to key decisions and engage with multiple teams.
  • Provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
  • Advise on high-impact activities within the systems development lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Must have expert proficiency in SAP HCM Payroll.
  • Advanced proficiency in Functional Designs is advantageous.
  • Strong influencing and advisory skills.
  • Experience with Government Payroll is essential.
  • Must be familiar with the SAP HR Payroll Solution (traditional SAP Solution) rather than SuccessFactors.
  • Expertise in organization, management, personnel, administration, Time & Attendance, and Payroll.
  • Ability to work with a virtual team, with a preference for Sydney-based candidates. If not based in Sydney, occasional travel to Sydney is expected.
