Veolia ANZ is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join our team in Pyrmont. This is a permanent full-time role. As a Senior Payroll Officer at Veolia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for Veolia Australia and New Zealand in accordance with VANZ policies and procedures.

- Provide advice, guidance and support to Payroll Officers, the broader finance department, HR and the business on payroll specific matters
- Maintain employee Masterfile by updating employee information for new hires, termination, transfer, and changes in employee pay details
- Coordinate and process monthly and weekly payrolls.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with procedures.
- Provide support to the payroll team and ensure data accuracy.
- Stay updated on payroll regulations and process termination payments accurately.
- Payroll systems experience (SAP Success Factors, ECP preferred; knowledge of Kronos desirable).
- 5 years of end-to-end payroll processing experience.
- Familiarity with payroll-related legislation and requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work to strict timeframes and deadlines
- High-level problem-solving and analytical abilities to resolve payroll and system issues
