Senior Account Manager/BDM | Step in to GM role

Due to sustained growth & an internal promotion, APAC FM have been engaged to source a General Manager (BMS Controls) for their multi-disciplined client - This role will provide operational leadership & excellence focusing on business improvements and maximizing their existing relationships with their key customers.

Typical day within the role:

  • Work very closely with group GM to ensure ‘Controls’ is operating at its optimum in terms of relationships with existing customers across all 3 business units.
  • Work in conjunction with the GGM & Directors to identify key growth areas for the group (Both within the BMS, HVAC, Mechanical & Electrical industries but also other opportunities through partnerships that can open new market opportunities).
  • Ensure the division is operating effectively & efficiently overseeing the sales department and maintaining your set KPI's.
  • Achieve department goals, setting targets & budgets in conjunction with vision & goals for entire department seeking growth within ‘Controls’.
  • Monitor and manage the annual contract P&L, setting new renewal figures and requoting etc.
  • Provide regular reports to GGM & Directors in accordance with KPIs.

Requirements:

  • BMS Controls Knowledge: Required to have a strong knowledge and understand the different ways they can interact with buildings operations, energy consumption as we deliver full control solutions.
  • Management experience: Comfortable in being responsible to manage the department operations and the team are productive & clients satisfied.
  • Financial management: Be responsible for P&L, Department growth, costings & overall departments financial requirements.
  • Ability to manage & monitor the department performance looking at improvement strategies for the group.
  • Confident in both client liaison & running internal staff meetings.
