ISMS 27001 Lead Auditor

You're an experienced third-party ISMS Auditor qualified against ISO/IEC 27001 looking for your next role. As an expert in your sector, you know how to achieve results and use your expertise to work with clients, helping them mitigate the risk of cyber-security attacks in their organisation.

To be a successful Auditor, you will have previous IT experience across a range of industries to service clients locally and nationally. Your primary role will be to manage a portfolio of clients while conducting audits against nationally and internationally recognised standards.

Auditors are responsible for ensuring audits are conducted in a timely and effective manner, employing the relevant risk assessment standards or assessment criteria and maintaining the audit process rigour and technical integrity and to meet internal and external accreditation requirements.

They also:

  • Interface directly with clients to ensure compliance with international standards
  • Work on audits that are complex in nature where considerable judgment is required
  • Develop of audit plans, coordinates audit dates with the clients and SAI operations
  • Interface with Intertek-SAI Senior Auditors, Client Relation Managers and Operations
  • Complete audit reports and conduct follow up activities when required
  • Travel as required

Selection Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or University or equivalent education and experience
  • ISO/IEC 27001
  • ISO 9001 Auditing experience preferred
  • Formal security related qualifications preferred but not essential, eg CISA, CISM
  • 4+ years full time experience in an IT related role
  • At least 2 years in a role or function relating to information security
  • Ability to write reports and effectively present information and respond to questions clients
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to analyse and interpret an extensive variety of data and statistical techniques
  • Ability to work effectively in audit teams and manage individual audits with minimal supervision
