This exciting opportunity will see you reporting directly to the Finance Operations Manager and being responsible for maintaining and controlling RAA’s Accounts Receivable function. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Reconciling specific suspense accounts and arranging for the clearance of outstanding items from those accounts
  • Accurately creating and maintaining debtor master files, as well as processing invoices, ETL’s and internal debtor invoice/reconciliation functions and ensure the input of correct required detail
  • Contacting debtor accounts once they become overdue, ensuring all overdue accounts have been contacted in line with bad debt policy and collection process to discuss current situation of debt
  • Liaising with relevant business units to resolve any outstanding issues that are delaying payment of invoices
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Providing support and relief for other account staff as needed
  • Running end of month reports

For this role, we’re also looking for:

  • Minimum of 2 years clerical experience in an accounts receivable role, with some reconciliation experience
  • Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Tech 1 (Finance One) or Microsoft Dynamics experience would be an advantage
  • Exceptional numeracy and accuracy skills
  • Exceptional data entry skills
  • Good communication skills and telephone manner
