ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsible for collating Data relating to the Information Management & Data Governance Platform Implementation, and providing data & project support at Moose Head Office. This role will report to Data Governance Director. 

Main responsibilities

  • Execute Item Master Data creation & changes in ERP (JDE) and PLM systems
  • Ensure data integrity is upheld and meets business rules, compliance, and internal audit requirements
  • Conduct routine audits across systems to ensure alignment of Master Data and provide feedback to data owners
  • Support internal teams by acting as first response to Master Data queries
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of data standards and guidelines on data ownership, coding structures, and data replication
  • Provide advice and validation in relevant projects, where master data is concerned and customer process
  • Maintain ERP & additional system Master Data Manuals, including any supporting documentation
  • Continual review of business processes to improve efficiencies and accuracy of data
  • Coordinate the implementation, the operation of and use of data governance tools to ensure effective and efficient stewardship of the data assets
  • Work with the internal teams to achieve major milestones and maintain data integrity
  • Produce & distribute accurate and timely reports as required
  • General Master Data and Project support
ABOUT YOU
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the consumer goods industry.
  • Advanced Excel capability, proficient in Data Entry in JDE or PIM system preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Team collaboration with a “can-do” attitude.
  • Clear analytical thinking and ability to maintain high accuracy.
  • Able to plan ahead and works in a systematic and organised manner.
  • Adapting and responding to change in a fast paced environment
