Senior Scientist, Mechanistic Modeling

As the Senior Scientist Pharmacometrics, you will contribute to our Pharmacometrics Business Unit in areas including pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) modeling, PopPK (Population Pharmacokinetics), exposure-response analysis, strategic study design, dose selection, regulatory submissions, and advanced simulations.
Location : Sydney, Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Pharmacometrics models and simulations, optimizing study designs and informing key decision points.
- Develop PK/PD models, PopPK, Exposure Response Analysis, Study Design, Dose Selection, and contribute to Regulatory Submissions.
- Generate Model-based insights for patient segmentation and biomarker identification.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external partners, aligning pharmacometrics strategies with overall drug development plans.
- Stay current with advancements in pharmacometrics, clinical pharmacology, and regulatory guidelines, integrating innovative methodologies into our approach.
- Attend conferences, collaborate with external partners, and contribute to scientific publications.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or equivalent in Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacometrics, or related field.
- Experience in Pharmacometrics including PK/PD modeling, Population PK, Exposure Response Analysis, Dose Selection within the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Expertise in applying modeling and simulation to support drug development programs, specifically for early-phase clinical trials.
