Social Impact Assessment is not just a sideline for us, it's core to our business. Our team of leading Social Scientists and planners play a vital role in maximizing project benefits that deliver shared value outcomes.

If you’re an experienced Social Scientist/Planner, leading the way in the delivery of social impact assessments but looking for greater project diversity and opportunity to shape broader services and innovative solutions to strengthen social licence, we’d love to speak to you about our growth plans.

Here’s what you can expect

  • You’ll join a fast-growing team of highly regarded Social Scientists and work together in close collaboration
  • Lead the delivery of social impact assessments for significant energy, mining and infrastructure projects in accordance with social impact assessment guidelines
  • Help grow and develop the team, particularly our graduate talent
  • Build strategic relationships with key clients and support the development of the practice
  • You’ll be supported by specialist teams across EMM and leaders who‘ll be there to help you to deliver and develop
  • Development in many ways; whether you learn best through structured development programs, mentoring or on the job with industry leaders, you’ll have the support you need to grow
  • Satisfaction from inspiring and supporting other EMMer’s on their development journey
  • The autonomy, flexibility and support you need to balance all aspects of your life

Here’s what you’ll bring

  • A relevant tertiary qualification ideally in Social Science or Social Planning
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering social impacts assessments and social analysis (ideally in consulting)
  • Ideally experienced in the delivery of projects across mining, energy and infrastructure
  • Highly developed research, analysis and report writing skills
  • Project management skills that have helped you achieve high quality delivery outcomes
