Position:
We are seeking an experienced Team lead who is skilled across Embedded Engineering, Yocto Linux, Python, AWS, and Kubernetes to lead our talented team of engineers in developing robust and scalable solutions. 

This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive technical excellence and innovation within our organization.

Location:
Aus / Remote - Flexible remote work options available.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers in designing, developing, and deploying embedded Linux-based systems.
  • Architect and implement solutions using Python for automation, scripting, and application development.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain Kubernetes-based container orchestration solutions for microservices.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in software development and DevOps.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience 5+ in leading teams 
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming for automation, scripting, and application development.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.) and cloud architecture best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, and microservices architecture.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) and Kubernetes (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with IoT platforms and protocols (MQTT, CoAP, etc.).
